I saw Buttermilk Falls on the map and I heard that it&#039;s a good hike. It&#039;s on my to-do list for the next time I&#039;m in the area.

Judging by the relatively big trees and the rotting falling logs, I&#039;m pretty sure I was in the old growth. But the surrounding forest was still pretty mature, so it wasn&#039;t easy to tell.</description>

		<description>Nicely done article Miguel. If you ever have a chance, try to explore the Buttermilk Falls trail in the DWGNRA. There are some impressive stands of Hemlock there as well as further south at the Hemlock Pond area.  Did you ever locate the 25 acre grove of old growth trees in Tillman&#039;s Ravine?
